San Francisco International Airports Airfield Operations Division hosted
a Safety & Security
Awareness Fair September 20 through September 22.
This
free three day event brought together the entire SFO aviation community, to
inform and showcase the latest in safety and security technologies.
Over the course of the three day event several hundred participants joined
in learning and hands on sessions, expanding their awareness of the latest
FOD and Safety measures and actions on the airport.

- Tuesday, September 20 - Vendor Safety Demonstrations & Products
Exhibition
- Wednesday, September 21- “Ramp Safety Walk & Fall Clean-Up”
- Thursday, September 22 - “SFO's 5 th Annual Runway FOD Walk
Event Participants Included:
The FOD Control Corporation, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Sherwin Industries,
GE Security, Quatrotec, San Francisco Police Dept. and Fire Dept.,
Recognition Systems, Covenant Aviation, USDA Wildlife Service, Vidient,
Pelco, Airport Communications, Airfield Safety, and more!
